Hey, I’m Trader Dale, and I’ve been a full-time trader since 2008. My journey into the financial world started with a passion for economics and finance, which led me to earn a university degree in finance. From there, I became a certified portfolio manager, investment manager, and earned my certification in financial derivatives. I’m proud to say that, unlike many self-proclaimed trading "gurus," I have a solid educational background to back up what I teach, and that’s thanks to my parents who supported me from the very beginning.

After graduating, I started working as a market analyst for a major brokerage. While it might sound like a great job, I quickly realized it wasn’t for me. First, I’ve always wanted to be independent, not work under a boss telling me what to do. Second, I didn’t like the way the brokerage treated their clients. It felt like they were more interested in collecting fees than actually helping their clients succeed. I knew I couldn’t continue working in an environment that didn’t care about the best interests of traders, so I left.

That’s when I committed 100% to trading. I spent 12-15 hours a day testing different strategies, backtesting various patterns, and trying anything I could think of to improve my trading. I traded stocks, investment certificates, automated trading systems, and eventually focused on manual forex trading. Like many traders, I initially chased the elusive "Holy Grail" of trading—searching for that one perfect indicator that would make me rich overnight. Spoiler alert: it doesn’t exist!

My first real success came when I ditched all the complicated indicators and went back to basics with Price Action. For the first time, I felt like I was getting somewhere. But the real breakthrough—my "eureka moment"—was when I combined Price Action with Volume Profile. That’s when I found a consistent edge in the market and started seeing steady profitability.

In 2016, I launched Trader-Dale.com with one goal: to create the kind of website I wish I had when I was starting out. Since then, I’ve done everything I can to make it the best resource for traders looking to learn how to trade using Volume Profile and other professional trading tools. Along the way, I’ve written several books, including *"Volume Profile: The Insider’s Guide to Trading,"* *"Order Flow: Setups,"* *"VWAP: The Insider’s Guide to Trading,"* and *"Stock Investing: The Insider’s Guide to Trading."* These books have sold over 60,000 copies on Amazon, and there have been more than 260,000 downloads from my website, helping traders all around the world.

I’ve also designed in-depth trading courses that guide traders step-by-step through their learning journey. These courses focus on teaching traders how to use Volume Profile and other tools that have proven effective in my own trading. Through my courses, members can access daily support and resistance levels that I publish, as well as a comprehensive 15-hour video course that dives deep into Volume Profile trading.
